Dr, Hwa Jin Youn, the former Senior Economist, Asian Development Bank and currently Chairman, Avalon Venture LLC, Korea has been recognized by the monthly Korean Literature Journal (KLJ) as Approved Professional Poet,  "Deungdan Siin" 등단시인 in Korean. This will be officially announced in the July Issue of the KLJ. He has been active in leading the Sihasa Poetry Society and his activities were published in several Korean daily newspapers; Joong-Ang and Naeil Daily. Dr. Youn's own poetry book will be launched this September. He is one of the few who can write the poem in English and has published some English poems quite often in Korea. One of the latest works "The Change" was presented at the Asian American Minority Summit Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia last March and has drawn many attention from the conference attendants and was published in the Sihasa Daum Cafe and his own blog.  For more his latest works, please see cafe,daum.net/PoeticSpiritualLife or his personal blog, sihasapeople.blogspot.com in which more than 300 poems and review/critics could be found for a reading pleasure.
