평화의 기도

주님, 저를 당신의 평화의 도구가
되게 하소서                                                    Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace

미움이 있는 곳에 사랑을 심게 하시고                Where there is hatred, let me sow love
상처를 받은 곳에 용서를 심게 하소서                Where there is jnjury, let me sow pardon
다툼이 있는 곳에 화합을 심게 하시고                Where there is fricion, let me sow union
오류가 있는 곳에 진실을 심게 하소서                Where there is error, let me sow truth

의심이 있는 곳에  믿음을  심게 하시고              Where there is doubt, let me sow faith                
절망이 있는 곳에  희망을 심게 하소서               Where there is depair, let me sow hope
어둠이 있는 곳에  빛을 심게 하시고                  Where there is darkness, let me sow joy
슲음이 있는 곳에  즐거음을 심게 하소서            Where there is sadness, let me sow joy

오!  천상의 주님                                                    O, Divine Master,
내가 너무 많은 것을 찾어 나서게 하지마시고       grant that I may not so much seek
위로받기 보다는 위로하게 하소서                      to be consoled aas to console
이해받기 보다는 이해하게 하시고                      to be understood as to understand
사랑받기 보다느 사랑하게 하소서                      to be loved as to love

받기 보다는 주어야하고                                  For it is in giving that we receive
용서받기 보다는 용서해야 합니다                     It is pardoning that we are pardoned
영원한 삶으로 태어나기 위해                           It is dying that we are born to eternal life.
우리는 죽어가고 있기 때문입니다. 아멘                  Amen
